Had been looking for a children's hair salon for my little boys first haircut,and was recommended Little Roots,was a little worried as Toby doesn't enjoy his hair being touched.We were made very welcome by the stylist ,Toby chose the pink mini as he wanted to watch Peppa pig! He was instantly put at ease and loved every minute of it,she didn't cut too much off as asked and put a lock into an envelope for me to take away. Would definitely recommend and look forward to our next visit.

So, so disappointed! :( I specifically said 'Don't loose my little boy's curls' and the hairdresser if she could be called that, proceeded to chop every last baby curl away!!! The cut was so rushed I think she finished within 7 minutes. Towards the end I noticed the receptionist walk up behind and grab my sons head to hold it in a vice grip so she could butcher some more.... She didn't listen to my request and the end result was not the simple tidy up I requested or even a good cut, if a short cut had been what I asked for...as for the child friendly seats , what a joke! He wasn't given any time to settle in it, and I was told to lift him out the minute she finished... This upset him! She then sprayed it with disinfectant and suggested he get in another. He wasn't interested , no chat to me the mum to see if I was happy and within minutes she disappeared for her lunch... Considering I was 15minutes early I think the service was shocking. It was only my lo's second haircut, it's made me really sad if I'm perfectly honest as the first cut was with a specialist child's hairdresser where the service was excellent and I left a very happy mummy, here I left really sad and disappointed. I never want to witness a stranger think it acceptable to hold my sons head in a vice grip. I was so shocked and it was all done as if the norm( adddd to that I didn't want my son to see me cross/ upset) I didn't react appropriately at the time... I truly regret that, but wrote this so others are forewarned!!! Really disappointing service, I left feeling very deflated and certainly NOT like I'd visited a child or mum friendly establishment.
