I entered this establishment with very long hair and asked for "a tiny bit off the top". The gentleman's first cut took 8 inches off. I asked what haircut/style he thought I just asked him for and he could not reply as he simply didn't speak sufficient English. There is a fatal flaw in this establishment's business plan if their employees are unable to communicate with - or follow instructions from - their customers. I came out with the generic "one size fits all" haircut that every other person that enters the shop also leaves with.

Just have a fairly decent haircut at Magic Scissors. The shop has had stickers all over it for a couple of weeks now stating £2 off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When I come to pay, I'm told the offer starts after Christmas and the standard prices have gone up! Basic haircut at £11 is now £12.50. I checked the stickers and there is no indication that the offer starts after Christmas. Quite dishonest and very sneaky.

Just got without a doubt the worst haircut i've ever been given... I'm a 14 year old lad who used to have a large quiff and very short sides, i asked for a tiny bit off the fringe and had hardly any fringe left afterwards, one side was a 2 and the other a 3. I've probably once left that place with a haircut that i'm properly chuffed about and i've been going there for over a year. Everyone in there is extremely grumpy and quiet and the gel they put in your hair at the end is like slime and very hard to wash out of your hair. I paid 9 quid for that and I couldn't have been paid to walk out of there with that haircut. I look like I've lost a fight with a lawnmower and I had a school photo done the next day. Definitely not going back there again, it's a shame that this review even gives one star.

Cost £9.00 daylight robbery wont go back also cut steppy

Amazing, exactly what I want every time, I have been to a Turkish barber many a time whilst in turkey and they are just as good. Love that they give little bit extra for only £11, where else do you get this, normally it's getting them in and out. I leave here feeling re-freshed and confident that my hair looks great.

Perfectly good cut. If you get the wrong guy he can be miserable as sin but there's a one in four chance of that. They do the burn your ear hairs, face steam, hand massage thing all for £11- well worth it. Recommended.

Without doubt, the worst haircut Ive ever had! I asked for my hair to be cut to about 2 inches. What I was left with was basically a shaved head.
If you want a shaved head by someone who is unqualified and clearly hates his job (no small talk and the most miserable expression from everyone in the shop) then this is the place for you. If you dont want to look like you've had a fight with a lawnmower and lost...go elsewhere.
Its a shame I had to give one star. Should be no stars.
