Very clean salon was very impressed with the hospitality and my hair was fabulous went in for a cut and blow dry the girl done a grande job and also loved my eyebrows recommend hair magic 100!%.

I went in to get my eyebrows done and sofie was amazing she gave me a lovely shape the best I've had yet plus I got my hair cut and finish she really does no what she is doing she's amazing thank you so much hair magic I'll be back

Hair magic is the only salon i trust with my hair as for the bad review someone posted it is complete and utter disrespect the stylist has just had a baby and therefor does not have time to glamorise herself in the morning hair magic is a great buisness and i woild not choose any other salon to go to the wax up the wall is due to a spill and is in the process of getting sorted ive spoken to the stylist myself and she explained this! Hair magic is deffinately a great place to go !!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We went for waxing and eyebrow treatment.

Bearing in mind that this is a Hair & Beauty salon, the stylist looked as though she had just been dragged through a hedge backwards - quite a shocking start really.

But it gets WAY worse . . . the treatment 'salon' proved to be an unbelievably scruffy room behind the main salon. The waxing pot was liberally smeared with spilled wax, as was the wall around it. The sticks used were unsuitable for the purpose, being lolly stick width. Because it doubles as store room, staff tea room, etc etc, there was no privacy; i.e. the stylist had to keep shouting to people not to come in.

The reason given for the appalling state of the 'salon' was that the owner, away in Dubai, didn't want to spend any money until he saw how successful the business was!!!!

In addition, a last minute customer came in after us and wanted instant hair attention before a funeral. OK the stylist asked us if we minded her 'drying her hair, but the end result was that our treatment was extended by at least 15 mins. In a well-organised salon this should not happen.

Following the treatment we were amazed to be told that the price was £85 - well over what we normally pay for professional treatment in professional surroundings.

Today, we found that the hair removal was incomplete, the eyebrows uneven and the surrounding skin suffering from an allergic reaction probably due to the use of substandard chemical products.

We telephoned and asked for a refund. We were told that only the owner can authorise this. The two contact phone numbers given for him were . . . Orange answer phone (we left a message) and number unavailable respectively. We have little, if any confidence, of redress, so we decided instead to warn other unsuspecting people to AVOID "HAIR MAGIC" AT ALL COSTS.

The only Magic practiced here is to spirit away your hard-earned money, after subjecting you to a dirty and unsatisfactory experience.
