Hassan the barber is a charming old guy and an attentive an skilled barber. He cuts it as I like it, very short with clippers on the back and sides and scissors on top.
Everything about this place is reminiscent of barbershops of the 1950's from the beautifully polished gas water heater to the shiny red barber chair to the large blue cape he tucks around your neck for the haircut. I always have a shampoo after the cut and he tucks in large soft towels front and back over the cape to keep you perfectly dry.
He charges £10 including the shampoo (2013 price). I just hope he never retires.
