I hate going to the hairdressers and especially ones that that I have never been to before, but as I was kindly given vouchers for Vincent Bell I booked an appointment and hoped for the best.
The service was great - easy to make an appointment over the phone - nice and friendly. I was made to feel very welcome despite it being first thing on a Monday morning. The girl who washed my hair - Leila I think (apologies if I got it wrong) - was professional, friendly and chatty (not too over the top though!)
The guy who cut my hair - Ethan - was great too. I'm crap at looking after my hair and let it grow into a nest before I reach a hairdressers. He didn't make me feel bad though, unlike other places I've been -he just laughed it off and advised/cut my hair in a way that suits my hair type and lifestyle (no styling - just wash and go!)
It's been about a week since I had it cut and I still love it. It's not as glossy and glamorous as when I left the shop, but it's cut in a way that I can give it a quick blast in the morning and it sits well for the rest of the day. Having unruly, wavy hair, this is a blessing. It has been ages since someone gave me a good cut that suits my hair type.
So I would recommend it and I would go back...well I kinda have to because they don't give change from gift vouchers - but I'll happily go back and reclaim my £4 credit!
And for £36 I think it was a pretty good deal!
