Devastated by my haircut. Essentially they didn't do what I asked and cut way more (~6-7inches) off than I wanted. I went in with thick locks of waist length hair and asked die a trim. I asked for some layers but the main length to be kept. I think she got over excited at the length of my hair and started cutting loads off. I even asked her to not take anymore length off but it was too late. She chopped into the thickness with thinning scissors. And proudly told me at the end that it now feels much lighter and that I will need to look after the long straggly bits she left as they're now so thin and limp at the ends...
She was friends but the cut is awful, she knew this as at the end she even said it was one of the most difficult haircuts because my hair was so long and hard to blend the lengths.
I am going to have to go else where to get it tidied up as the short layers that make up the majority of my hair are now just below shoulder length with a few thin lengths down to my waist underneath. Not looking forward to having them taken off too but atleast ill have a more complete haircut.
This 'hairdresser' is maybe ok as a barbar as I think she wants everyone to have short hair. Don't know what her problem was with cutting so much of my hair off that I had clearly asked her not to. Obviously I left not happy and I will never go back.
